Esther Amissah

Secretary & Lead Teacher

I am Esther Amissah Brown a seasoned pupil teacher with a track record of
successful teaching for about 8 years on. I am expert in shaping the minds
of kids towards their academic career. As a teacher, I have played a crucial
role in shaping the lives of young people by inspiring, motivating and
encouraging new generations of learners and guiding them to make a
positive impact in the world around them. I always crave the indulgence to
help the students to be passionate about learning and understanding the
impact and importance of lifelong education. I currently teach at The Step
Academy School.

Over the years in Ghana, I have seen and heard many children go through
child sexual abuse. They keep quiet about it because they have less
knowledge about the ongoing phenomenon. However this misfortune has
been my source of motivation to join Combating Child Sexual Abuse
Organisation to fight against the problem. As the lead teacher of the
organization, building the self esteem, motivating and encouraging young
children in our communities through a well organized curriculum about the
causes, signals and preventions of child sexual abuse is my prerogative.
I have forever dreamt of seeing kids who go through the truama of child
sexual abuse being freed and the perpetrators brought to book. I foresee
child sexual abuse if not totally eradicated but reduced it to the barest
minimum. In achieving this goal CSA is championing this course in
combinating child sexual abuse with the powerful means of properly
educating to the kids with a well organised curriculum and other teaching
learning materials(TLM).
In Ghana the target is to reachout to every community, school and other
sociable organizations to educate children and caregivers on how to
combat Child sexual abuse.
